THE SYSTEM
The Tapmark® Masonry Fastening System consists of the Tapmark® Fastener and an Industrial Grade Masonry Drill. The drills are manufactured from heat treated steel with a Copper Brazed Tungsten Carbide tip. They are designed for general purpose rotary and rotary percussion drilling, and can be used in most masonry materials.

FASTENER LENGTH
The length of the Tapmark® fastener to be used is determined by combining the thickness of the fixture being attached: (A), with the desired depth of embedment in the masonry material; (B), It is recommended that a minimum of 1" and a maximum of 1-3/4" embedment to be used in determining the Tapmark® fastener length.

HEAD STYLES
Flat head or Hex Washer head

HOLE DEPTH
Refer to P/N Page 11: 4 for correct drill bit selection. In all cases the depth of the hole must be at least 1/2" deeper than the depth of the fastener embedment. Normal safety precautions should be observed when drilling the holes to avoid electrical installation, other utilities and reinforcement bars.
